THANKS FOR VISITING MY BLOG AND WISHING ALL VISITORS A VERY HAPPY 2011.

A yellow rose from Mum's funeral on 26 Sept 2010

Yellow was mum's favourite colour so we chose yellow roses and blue irises for her casket. I pressed this flower on the day of her funeral and have included it to 'carry her with us' into the New Year.

Our back garden on the last day of 2010

Above our stairs

This painting of Nicola's hangs above our stairs. Since having two small children, her paintings have taken off in the direction of storybook animals.

Nicola's painting downstairs

Our youngest daughter Nicola painted this several years after the Dame Edna painting. This hangs on a bedroom wall downstairs.

On her way out

Youngest daughter Nicola painted this likeness to Dame Edna several years ago. Before finding a resting place I thought I'd place the image on my blog.
