Pics below: Today is the first day of spring and I just noticed the beautiful golden light on our acacia at the bottom of the garden. In the other pic my dog Woogie is looking hopefully towards the kitchen.

I think the pic below is creepy. My husband took it at nearby Norton's Park a day or so ago. My dog Woogie was apparently really scared of this mannequin's head. Who can blame him....But he was also scared of the garbage truck this morning jumping vertically in the air and landing on an adjacent wall. Yes a dog's got to do what a dog's got to do........

Pics below: I visited Birdsland Reserve in Tecoma this morning and found it lush with plenty of water in the two lakes and an almost defeaning sound of nearby frogs in the adjacent swamp.
