I RECENTLY SPENT A COUPLE OF DAYS WITH GRANDSON ASHTON (5), GRANDSON TATE (3) AND THEIR BABY SISTER NIESA (13 WEEKS)  AT THEIR PLACE IN MIRBOO NORTH.

My husband Michael Cook who is a landscape gardener specialising in natural features and Australian native plants, designed and built the features seen in  this garden in Montrose. 

He, along with workers and sub-contractors,  built these features  in 2008. It has mellowed with further growth. Hence the results as seen in the photos.

We visited the garden yesterday long with members of his group Australian Plant Society, Maroondah. He is the president. 

Grandsons Jack (6) and his brother Cameron (3) came to play at our house yesterday. I bought a pirate tent for them to use here but I think they preferred 'fishing' in the back garden. 

I TOOK THESE PICS TODAY OF MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER NICOLA AND HER CHILDREN. MY COLOMBIAN FRIEND NURY CAME WITH ME TO VISIT THEM IN GIPPSLAND,  A COUPLE OF HOURS DRIVE FROM MY HOME IN MELBOURNE.

MIke and I went to Norton's Park this afternoon (only 2 kms from our house) and had some interesting winter weather
