I painted the little teapot

This teapot for one is a cheery small addition next to the kitchen window. I painted it a couple of weeks ago.

An edible present

My friend Jenny kindly bought me this pot of peppers.

A friend kindly gave me this pot of chilli peppers

An attractive present which contrasts strongly with our mainly green garden.

Plenty of green to be seen through our dining room window

Bub squashes bub

Birthday boy Cameron is squashed behind big bub Tate. They are only two weeks apart in age and Tate is younger!

I took this pic a couple of weeks ago at Cameron's first birthday party

Grandson Tate was intent on grabbing grandson Cameron's dummy even though it was Cam's birthday.

Cameron had his own turn to laugh

We celebrated Cameron's first birthday at a park near his house in Cranbourne North.

OUR YOUNGEST GRANDSONS

Here is grandson Tate who turns 1 year old on March 1st laughing at grandson Cameron's expense. Cameron turned 1 year old on February 13th this year.

Lemon scented myrtle in our backyard

This lemon scented myrtle, an Australian Native Plant, is flowering prettily in our back yard.

Ornamental grapevine growing in our garden

This ornamental grapevine is growing well in our garden despite our two dogs having their kennels underneath.

The lane at the back of our house

We are lucky to have this green laneway at the back of our house, creating space between the us and the houses opposite.

Our back garden is looking lush.

Hard to believe it is summer with our back garden looking os green.

The frog pond in our back yard

A number of banjo frogs are serenading each other night and day with the sounds "pobble" and "bonk". This combined with the sounds of possums and fruit bats makes us forget sometimes that we are in the midst of suburbia with main roads nearby.

My husband spent his 63rd birthday on our roof

Husband Mike spent part of his 63rd birthday on our roof as massive rains and blocked gutters had sent water cascading into our kitchen!
