Dianella near the pond

This pretty native plant Dianella has attractive purple 'fruit'. It is growing near our pond with the strappy leaves providing frog protection

Mike is trying to improve the pond in our back garden so that it is more attractive to us and the banjo frogs.

We have attracted banjo/pobble bonk frogs to our pond but I am not sure if we will hear them tonight, now that our two dogs have waded in!

I caught the early morning light during our stay at this property in Srzlecki.We were staying at Wit's End cottages in the grounds of a former school which opened in the early 1920s and closed in 1979.

We enjoyed dining at this table in a lovely cottage in Strzlecki, 22kms from Korumburra.The owners are artists, specialising in glass blowing.

We stayed in one of two cottages named Wit's End

Site of our recent Strzlecki holiday in Victoria about an hour and a half drive from our home in suburban Melbourne.

My husband Mike and I have just returned from several nights holiday on this property in Strzlecki, 22kms from Korumburra. Giant Earth Worms live under the ground here and are sometimes 6 feet long. They can be heard under foot in damp areas, sounding like water draining from a bath.When brought to the surface they die. They are endangered........
